Almost A Laugh...

Teo has been more and more responsive in the last few weeks.  He's smiling a lot, and today, he was almost laughing.  It was soooooooooooooooo sweet.  Unfortunately, in this video, you can really only hear Fabio's mom laughing in the background (Skype), and Fabio making funny noises in the attempt to get Teo to laugh, but if you listen really closely, you can hear Teo...and, he looks pretty cute too!

Lately

So, this has been the view from where I sit lately. I find it safer to just let him nap on me, rather than get startled wide awake when I try to lay him down. I have tried swaddles, binkies, swing, crib, rolled blankets in the crib, etc.

We have tried "crying it out" but it didn't last long. I think he is too young, and he works himself up so much that he is wide awake and there seems no way he will go to sleep on his own.

Help?

Smiles All Around

During the last few weeks, Teo has really started to smile and respond to us. It's so fun to see him smile and get excited. He also gives us looks that seem to say, "Ummmm...excuse me. What are you doing?"  We're having so much fun with him these days!

Tummy Time

Teo isn't a fan of tummy time, but his neck is getting stronger! (I figure out that the video is sideways and turn it a few seconds into it.)

Happy Two Month Birthday, Matteo!

Time sure flies! Our "little" baby is already 2 months old!

Mt. Rainier

While I was growing up, Mt. Rainier was one of my family's favorite places. We used to camp at Ohanopacosh and White River and have done countless hikes there. When Fabio and I lived in Seattle, we visited Mt. Rainier several times and I fell in love all over again. There is no place like it. My favorite hike is the Silver Falls trail, and we took Matteo there, along with my parents for Labor Day weekend. Going on this hike made me and Fabio miss Washington more than ever!

He woke up for about 20 minutes!
