8 Months Old

At eight months old, Teo is:

• Rolling all over the floor, sometimes halfway across the room.  
• Still not crawling.  Hasn't made much progress since his 7 month mark.  
• Sleeping great!  Wakes up once a night SOMETIMES, and sometimes sleeps 11 hours straight!
• Loves to have conversations with Mama and Papa'.  (Lots of squealing involved.)
• Grunts when he is angry, often during meal time.
• Reaches for EVERYTHING.  
• Has started eating puffs.
• Going to a mommy and me class.  He is the youngest, and during our first class, he just watched the other kids crawl and walk around.  (Many are close to one year old.)  Maybe all this observing with motivate him to crawl!
• Loving playing games with Papa', mostly involving peek-a-boo and "Kissy, Kissy Airstrike."
• Still smiling and flirting with strangers.  To get attention, he now squeals at people while looking at them.  It's almost like he's saying, "Hey!  Pay attention to me.  I know I'm cute!"
• Still getting lots of attention from people in the grocery store and other public places.  He usually gets comments on his beautiful blue eyes.

We comment on how much cuter he gets as he gets older.  We love him so much.  We love to play with him and make him laugh.  He's added so much love and joy and presence to our life.  We feel so fortunate to have him in our lives.
