We drove about an hour to the countryside east of Issaquah to Jubilee Farm. Not only was it gorgeous, but the weather was spectacular and everything except the pumpkins were free! No entry fee and no fee to go on a hayride. No crowds either. It was peeeerrrrrrrrrfect.
Matteo was obsessed with the tractor. He kept walking towards it (and we kept carrying him back) and pointing and saying "boos." (By the way...that's his word for anything big that moves. And he always points while he says it.)
Since the grass was so high and the ground was so uneven, Matteo spent a lot of time doing this. He looked like a little predator in the grass. He's our little predator.
The best way to end today is with some of my favorite fallish food, so I'm off to make pumpkin pie and hot chocolate. Happy Fall everyone!
