We took a walk along the beach in Ballard. Matteo loved watching the sea.
Papa' did a puppet show at the Discovery Park Visitor's Center. Matteo also had fun in the educational part of the visitor's center. He especially liked to play with all the little doors that had information under them. :)
He's been to the zoo more times that we can count. His favorite part are the penguins. He lovingly calls them "genaw." Since Seattle has recently been more rainy than sunny, Matteo has become well acquainted with the "Zoomasium," where there are plenty of indoor slides and climbing structures. The last time I took him, he quite possibly spent an hour going down this slide.
We met Grandma and Grandpa at Bell Square and Matteo ate 4 mini cookies from Mrs. Field's thanks to Grandpa.
We took a walk along the waterfront near the sculpture gardens.
Matteo's favorite outing thus far was the Children's Museum at Seattle Center. I told Fabio we didn't need to get a yearly pass because Matteo mostly just cared for the stairs and ramps and slides, all of which we can find elsewhere for free. He did, however, truly enjoy the "buuuuuuuusssssssssss!" (imagine high pitched screech that reached the Space Needle) and fire engine. He spent about 2 minutes in the play grocery store and we spent the rest of the 2 hours climbing stairs, going down slides, and running back and forth between the fire engine and bus. Oh-and I had a great time trying to keep him away from the water feature after he drenched himself in the first 10 seconds of playing with it.
Yep, I would say this boy has quite the life!
