The L.A. Zoo

I'll just start by saying that the L.A. Zoo is less than impressive.  For $16 a person, we saw a tiger, a few boars, some sleeping kangaroos, a few monkeys and a giraffe.  The Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle and the Henry Dorley Zoo in Omaha kicks the L.A. Zoo's hiney.  That said, it was a GORGEOUS day, and at least we got out with Teo and had a nice walk in the park.  Teo didn't really give a hoot about any of the animals, but, now we can say we went to the zoo.

Teo is always happy to be outside on an adventure...

We really tried to get Teo interested in the barnyard animals.  He was semi-interested in the goat.

He actually did like to watch the pink flamingos.

Checking out the lonely seal.

There are monkeys on the cliff behind Papa' and Teo.

Watching the monkeys through the glass.

Watching the baby tigers play together.

Mama Giraffe eating from the "tree."

Baby Giraffe and Baby Teo...So cute.

Teo has learned how to move the carseat visor down when it's in a position not of his liking.  We think it's pretty cute!  As usual, he was such a good sport.  We love our almost 7 month old little guy.

This is a post for the record. You made a positive comment about Omaha. They have a good zoo. That picture of Teo watching the monkeys is priceless. So cute.

Boy honey, you must have created this post during one of his 9-11 hrs of continuous sleep. Can't imagine how long it took. That said, THANKS!! I could look at this boy for hours.
