Our Little (ahem...big) 7 Month Old

Matteo gets cuter and cuter as he gets older.  Some of our new favorite things this past month have been:

-He can now sit on his own, but I still put the boppy pillow around him because when he gets overly excited he can tip over.
-He started sleeping through the night, albeit fairly irregularly, but we have had several nights of 9-11 hours of uninterupted sleep!  YAY!
-He goes down for naps with minimal crying!  (YAY again!)
-He rolls with ease from his back to tummy, but can't roll back over.  (Much to his mama's chagrin in the middle of the night!)
-He LOVES to squeel.
-He goes through about an hour of what I like to call "spaz time" right before bed.  It involves blowing rasberries (sometimes all the way through dinner), screeching, banging toys, squirming and twisting out of our arms if we try to hold him down to take his clothes off or change his diaper and rocking back and forth with great force.
-He continues to love his bath.  He has a new blow up mini-bath that fits in our tub which is a little safer than sitting in the tub itself.
-He broke his first tooth! (There has been a little whining.)
-It is SUPER easy to make him smile.  He'll generally smile at any stranger who looks at him (and sometimes doesn't look at him).

 If you're wondering, he has these cute bibs made by his "aunt" Cherlyn, and it got stuck one night as we were taking it off.  Just call him, "Sister Mary."

Here's our monthly carseat picture.  He's getting so big and heavy now that we can't lift him in the carseat anymore.  It stays in the car.
