A Magical Day

I always said I would never take a baby to Disneyland.  Well, I stand corrected.  It was just too tempting.  We had extra tickets from our SoCal passes that expired in 2 weeks.  We had already been twice without Matteo when my parents came to visit, so we figured, why not take him for a morning and get some great photos?  :)

The morning was amazing.  Few crowds, great weather.  Teo was a little fussy because he missed his morning nap, but all in all, we had a great time.  We didn't rush to rides.  We just went on a few we thought Teo would like and we waited in line about a total of 10 minutes for all 4 rides.  We did It's a Small World, Storybook Land Boat Ride, Jungle Cruise and the Mark Twain Steamboat.  We had a yummy lunch at Big Thunder Ranch BBQ and met some famous characters.  By the time 1pm rolled around, we were satisfied and headed home so Teo wouldn't miss both naps.  (He's napping soundly in his crib now, in fact!)

It was so quiet in the morning that we had a boat all to ourselves in It's a Small World.

Teo loved the Jungle Cruise until the gunshots.  Then he had a melt down.

Saying that Teo didn't like having the hat on his head would be an understatement.

Teo was a big flirt with Mickey and Minnie.  He was totally kissing up too because he wore his Mickey shirt.

Chip and Dale were dancing to a highschool band that was playing "Poker Face" by Lady GaGa.

When Donald Duck saw Mickey on Teo's shirt, he gave us a big thumbs down.

Who knew there was a petting zoo at Disneyland?

By the "end" of our day (at 1pm), Teo was definitely ready to go home.

It was short and sweet, but that's what you gotta do when you have a baby.  It was so worth it.

The Jungle Cruise was awesome until the last minute. Then Teo started crying so loudly that Tarzan and all the elephants ran away from fear. It was such a fun day. The BBQ lunch was awesome!

Glad to see the little guy is slowly being introduced to some of our cultural icons.
