Marvelous May

Boy, has it been a May for the gods! Weather like this in Seattle is rare, especially in May, so we've been spending a fair amount of time outside.

We've spent a lot of time at Discovery Park.

We traveled out to Snoqualmie to the Train Museum.

We've been to the zoo many times.

Matteo visited Nanna and Grandpa in Prosser.

And Nana and Grandpa visited Matteo (and us too) in Seattle.

Matteo's neighbor friend has really taken a liking to Matteo.  She would be a perfect big sister!

Matteo has spent a lot of time talking to La Nonna.

On the not so sunny days Matteo has spent some time reading.  Actually, he "reads" every day, and often by himself.  He has recently taken a liking to the Shutterfly books I've created of family events/trips.

We had a lovely Mother's Day.  The highlight was visiting the Space Needle.  Matteo especially loved climbing the stairs and opening and closing any door possible.  Like usual!
