"Farms" is in quotes because this place was not a farm. It was a mini theme park. Fabio's friend, Stefano invited us to go with him and his family to a fall festival outside Redmond in Carnation and I have to admit that at first I was skeptical. It's far. It's expensive. Cheap carnival rides.
Yep, it was far, and veeerrry expensive, but it was soooooo worth it! Every ride and attraction was catered for 2-5 year-olds, and was extremely clean and well-run. Not only that, it was full all of Matteo's (and every other toddler's) favorite things! Choo-choos, buses, fire trucks, boats, horsies, goats, sheep, pigs, bunnies, pumpkins. This place was kid heaven. We loved all 5 hours we spent there! Matteo skipped his nap with no problem!
Stefano has twin 22 month old girls. Whew! The kids had a great time together and so did the adults! The weather was perfect, Matteo was independent enough to ride the rides alone and he squealed every time we turned a corner and saw some new attraction.
You can only imagine the joy in this little boy's heart when he saw this steam train arrive to pick him up!
"Buuuuuussssss!" We still can't convince him to say "Fire Truck."
"Booooo buuuussss!" This boy was in heaven.
"Neh-Neh!"
Hay maze. This place had every. thing.
Teo loved the flying pumpkin ride. It's just like the Dumbo ride at Disneyland minus the hour wait in line! We went on it twice.
Stefano's family and Fabio and Matteo all squeezed in for a vintage car ride.
"Neh-Neh!" We rode Bumbleberry. He was a good little horsie.
The kids had a great time climbing all over the pumpkins.
Can you see Matteo in the blue coat? He was in heaven. Again. I was afraid he wouldn't want to go on the ride alone, but he's growing up. He was just fine, and loved every second of the choo-choo ride. It probably helped that he could see me the whole time.
He also had no problem going on the flying corn ride by himself. He had a great time playing with the lever that makes it go up. He never pushed it down long enough to make him go any higher than you see here. Oh well. He loved it! (Who makes flying corn rides, anyway?! Where do they find these rides?!)
"Booooaaaaaat!!" Again, I can only imagine how magical this mini-canoe ride was for all the little kids. This place was the best!

That looks like so much fun! Wish we could've been there to share in the fun!
More sophisticated than Grandviews. Cute and fun.
Teo is the cutest! He is so grown up looking lately... no longer a toddler, he is a little boy!
