La Nonna really liked the "freak shows" on the boardwalk.
We ate at Paradise Cove on the beach in Malibu and then enjoyed the gorgeous day out on the pier.
Matteo was awake and alert and enjoying his first day at the beach. He was so tranquil, we were leery to take him out of his carseat, lest we disturb "the peace." :)

I don't know what it is, but the ocean is utter traquila for me! Even here, being out by (or on -- yay for kayaking!) the water is so pleasant. You have to be feeling rejuvenated from it -- its too hard not to!
