More Touristy Haunts

Matteo sure is seeing a lot of famous and beautiful places in his first few months of life. He saw Hollywood on Friday. Well, he saw it through his eyelids. :) He was a pretty good sleeper that day.



I've lived in LA for a total of 4+ years, and don't think I have any pictures with any of the "stars." I saw one of my faves, Julie Andrews and seized the moment:

We visited the Huntington Gardens on Sunday. It was pretty hot, and Teo had his first day of minor protests, but he's just so cute, we'll forgive him.

We also visited Forest Lawn Cemetery here in Glendale. Guess who is buried there? Just guess before you read on....

Yes, people. Michael Jackson's body is literally down the street from our apartment. Granted, the public cannot access his tomb, but you can look through a darkened window in a mauseleum, down a long hallway to some stained glass windows and a large tomb. There are flowers and signs outside the door. The only pictures of said location are on La Nonna's phone, unfortunately, but we thought it pretty cool that we share a hometown with Michael Jackson. Well, kinda.
