Baby Matteo turned one month old yesterday, August 7. He weighs 11.5 lbs and is still 21 inches long. We think he was measured at birth with his massive cone head, which explains why his height hasn't changed. :)
We got out for his birthday and enjoyed the perfect weather in L.A. We went up to Griffith Observatory and took in the smog filled view of L.A. We then headed to Santa Monica where we walked along the cliff above the sea. Matteo slept the whole time, waking only a few times to eat. He was a little angel face. Here is the angel face:
Today, however, has been a VERY different story. After a walk from 1-2:30, he was "Mr. Fussy Pants." Sheesh. He didn't sleep, he only ate (and fussed while he did it) and fussed and fussed some more. Fabio is gone for job training in Florida until Thursday, and our stuff is being delivered tomorrow. Needless to say, I'm a little frayed. I digress...here are some picture highlights of Teo's first month.

Two things:
1. Four days wasn't nearly long enuf! Not even close.
2. I remember a certain set of four kids who occasionally acted like they'd been given fuss-budget pills.... Must run in the family. The good news is they always got over it.
Emalei!! I love the pics! Matteo is a beautiful little baby!! Tell us about your house in CA. How is day to day life with Matteo? Miss you! We are in Lake Chelan with Mira's family...Joey and Mira are having the best time here! It is pure bliss! We will be here together for a full week!
